Moisture.
Common causes are moisture producing items such as unvented dryers, using open gas stove flame to cook or heat the house and heated aquariums.
In a new home, the framing and drywall will contain a lot of moisture, plus any exposed concrete will contribute a lot.
There is so much moisture in the air inside that it condenses when it hits the cold window.
Now the questions: how old is the house; how many people live in it; how is it heated and ventilated?
Are the windows single pane ?
Back drafting of flue gases can be one cause - don't overlook that
The other questions will all aid in a diagnosis

What brand windows? What year were they installed? Insulated glass?
