CONDUIT SIZING – for romex
@@@
I could thumb thru Chapter 9 and try to do sums on my toes or I could ask the forum…
I figure someone has done this and knows the answer.
I need to size some P40 conduit to take two 12/2WG NM-B cables.
I need to get this laid in before they pour in that area.
Let’s see – the width of the romex is used as the diameter of a circle, the circle is used to compute the fill, etc.

And I know from experience that you'd better have someone at the head end making sure the cables don't twist as they feed.

The power was 200A in 3" conduit. The telco got 4" conduit - through which I pulled four entire Cat 3 cables. They have the same idea. The ToolBear
