What would be your question?
This sounds like the start of a joke. A Carpenter, a Plumber, and an Electrician walk into a bar.
mono truss has notch in bottom cord that bears on 2x4 ledger nailed to rim joist of second story floor system. Top truss connected to pressure blocking

So what is the point of your post?
Many of us know what a monotruss is.
wondering if 2x4 ledger is correct way to support tall end of truss that butts into wall?
Well now we’re getting some where.
They should have left instructions if these were from a truss company. Properly ordered with the specs given the truss co. usually supply the installation method.
What you describe is a way to install them provided the ledger and blocking are done to spec. The proper fasteners are important!
There are also many different types of truss plates and brackets for this application.
What did they send with the trusses?
just drawing plans now, wanted to check on attachment. Thanks for the info
If it transfers…….
