continuous Insulation in climate zone 4
Building in climate zone 4 the Code states to use greater than or equal to R-Value of 3.75
of continuous insulation where I am building a 2X6 wall with Cellulose of about 3.3 R- value per inch into the wall of 5.5 inches thick. Does this mean I must have an R-Value over and above the R-18 cellulose wall? That is 18 +3.75 insulation of R-value of 21.75 of exterior continuous insulation. I am not sure I am reading this correctly.
