Looking to hire a remodeling contractor in the Corvallis, OR area with real experience, interest, and knowledge in craftsman-era design and techniques. I have a 1910 two-story house and architect’s plans for +/- 900 sq ft addition, plus a garage demo and replacement with two-story workshop with living space above. Contractor would need to be able to work with the homeowner (me) who knows and appreciates–and is a bit of stickler for–a high level of craftsmanship in all phases of construction, including the little details. I will not be on-site during most of the construction so I want to hire someone who will be or has a crew they really trust do to it right. I’ll need to work with the contractor initially to clearly develop methods, details and costs. Should be a pretty cool job, really.
Any leads or interests welcome, Thanks.

I'm interested. I work alone to guarantee quality, avoid bureaucracy, and keep down stress. I do work in close cooperation with Homeowners and anyone else involved.
i'd like to know more about the project. though my marketing is geared primarily towards log homes, i have enough historic renovations under my belt that i don't think you'd be disapointed in the least. have client references going back ten years and photo documentations on work involving gut, rehab, restore. for a gander at the quality of work my company produces, check out our webpage; http://www.jjordanbuilders.com
all new construction is handled from the ground up. the only subs i use are mechanicals, i.e. plumbing, elec., heat and air. we do all phases of the masonry, rough framing, to finish details. if you'd like to discuss anything on the phone, then speak with samantha at the office (706) 779-3024. she s actually from newburg i think and will be in that area in the not too distant future, so if we can be of any help then feel free to give us a shout, if i'm too late thn i wish you all the best and hope the project turns out well worth your efforts.
