"Does ####written contract between two parties superceed anything written in the law."
No, a contract can't superceed ANYTHING in the law, but it might be able to supeerceed SOMETHINGS in the law.
But then you did not really specify any about "the law".
In fact I am not sure what your question is.
Also "the law" is a very broad area. I contain an attorney with specific questions.
What have they asked you to do that you do not feel comfortable with?
It sounds like you are trying to include recovery and collection costs in your contract and wondering how legal that is..
For instance, if the law says that it is illegal to charge interest rates of more than __% per month you want to knwo if you can get away with charging ___+2% per month for unpaid balances if they sign an agreement up front that they are OK with this, right?
It depends on how the law is written and on how you contract is worded. Also, you can put in there that there will be an initial $35 collections initiation fee and that they are responsibl;e for all legal and collection costs.
But if this is really something you expect to be an issue, you are better off and will be more sane, if you simply avoid them as customers.
Excellence is its own reward!
