I have a Dewalt 708 SCMS that throws dust like crazy. I’ve been trying to devise an effective cowling that will collect the sawdust when connected to a powerful vac. So far all my attempts have been less than satisfactory. Has anyone had experience doing this????? Please help!!!!

no, but i'd sure like to know what you come up with. you know, sears sells the RAS collector set up w/shroud & hose for about $25, if you're into retrofitting and not making your own. doesn't work perfectly on my RAS, but i've always thought that was due to a pretty high fence w/narrow kerf. the openings on scms's are much bigger aren't they? anyway, post what you find, ok?
