Hello. If anybody changed the generator fuel from gas to natural gas with a convert kit, would you tell your experience and where to get the kit?
Planning to get Honda EM5000s. Gasoline, portable.
Generac has 7000w natural gas generator but it is not portable (best location has bedroom above it) and even this brand seems to have its share of negative reviews. That’s why the Honda choice.

After more research, these conversion kits need me to drill a hole into a carburator. I can see where I can really screw up the machine.
There is Winco generator that comes ready for NG. Any experience with this generator?

I had a Coleman gasoline that I converted to propane with a kit from http://www.carbturbo.com/.
Never an issue and worked fine till sold a few weeks back. I bought a propane ready 6kw because I needed 220 for the well pump since moving to a new house.
