Hello good people of Breaktime,I’m in search of info. I tried google but couldn’t find what I was looking for,so maybe someone here can offer some help/direction.My inlaws just bought an antique cook stove originally was wood, then converted to kerosene before they bought it.They are interested in having it converted to gas. They located a company to do that but were told that there may not be enough space to do exactly what they wanted,(space inside the stove that is).
Seeing they already paid a lot for this stove, which was made by “Boston Stove Foundry” and is a “Premier B” model about 1920 vintage,I was hoping to get some more opinions.Or maybe a link to another company that does this type of work. Also looking for missing trim pieces for top shelves, were nickle I guess. We’re located in R.I.
any help or advice well appreciated,
thanks,George C.

Do some google on Wood Stove Refurishing, Wood Stove REbuilding, Wood Cook Stove Conversion and the like.

Bill, thanks for the links.I found the 1st 2 when I googled for info, but not the other 2 you posted.Did you use the google search engine?
I will call one or the co.'d listed to get any info that they may provide.
Thanks! George C.
Yes, I used google. What I found it the trick is often finding the right search words. After I find a couple then I look at what how they descript the item and I also see what wrong sites that I find and then usually gives me some alternate words to use.
