once again
*boy, that was a quality shot!the owner takes his dog home with him- a german shephard from checklosvakia(sp) named Bosco
*plus he has Bosco's predecessor, retired "Osco".so we got 2 cop dogs, Osco & Bosco- these pups didn't smile much...this shot is under the breakfast bar-2nd time I've done my corbels this way- I like it alot...
*Nice work Greg! I thought I was gonna get to see some doggies though....What do you do for joinery/finishing on the raised panel corner under the bar? I like the corbels.
*thanks, mike... whenever I had my camera on the job the young officer dog was busy eating bad guys- I'll get a pic tho...damn dog is intense- one nite I had to go over & measure something - noone home but the dogs- & I had to go in thru the back door - talk about being haired out & not able to let it show!!!went in thru the slider, calling for the dogs, they come running, Bosco(the young one) stands up w/his paws on my chest, looks me in the eye just to let me know he was boss...didn't have a problem with that at all...those miters I have been doing by roughing it out on the table saw then trueing it with a big 45 degree v-groove bit & a perfect straight edge, then hide glue & quickgrip clamps - been working great 4 me...as for finish, 3 coats sanding sealer, sanded between each, 3 coats lacquer, sanding as needed
*A job done well is a job well done!
