Karl
I suspect hard enough to physically hurt..
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.... WOW!!! What a Ride!
couple years ago we hired this new engineer, civil. one day he was fixing a copper pipe that went over the ceiling tiles. he was convince that CPVC was glue for copper pipe so, he glues up forty feet of water line. turn on pressue and you know what happen next. No body could tell him that they did not have a copper glue, he knew everything.
I tried to use it recently for a difficult joint to sweat that I had failed a couple of times on and was running out of pipe to cut back on (heat sink pulling all the heat away from the joint). The stuff was an epoxy with a clear and a copper-colored side to the tube.
junk. absolutely worthless. finally got the joint sweated in though.
