Just finished a copper built-in gutter reline. This one is flat bottomed, which is the most common configuration in our neck of the woods.

That roof's about worn out. It'll get replaced in a few years, hopefully with something nicer.
We don't have a lot of good slate around here, which is what was on that house originally. Pennsylvania slate that lasts 60 years maybe. And to get good slate is cost prohibitive because of the shipping. View Image

I agree, but around here you don't have much choice. You might be able to put a metal roof on, but everything else would be hard to find and certainly high dollar.
