I saw an add somewere from a company that rebuilds cordless tool batterys. Has any of you guys seen or heard of this company? The dead battery packs and left over tools are stacking up. Seams a shame to throw them out.

If you also have a local Batteries Plus store, they'll rebuild them. They give a $5 discount for contractors and I believe a 1 year warranty.

I was looking into rebuilding my own packs. It seems to me that it might be cheaper and easier to simply buy a generic replacement battery pack from Harbour Freight - they sell them pretty cheap - and salvage the batteries from that. Otherwise buying the batteries with tabs can get expensive and you might as well buy a new drill while you at it.
