I am in the process of installing tile in a new shower. I was thinking of using 12″ x 12″ (cut on diagonal, 2 out) 1/2″ thick corain as shelves set into one of the corners. I was going to notch the tile to except the shelf. We have matching corian in the bathroom. Does this sound like a workable solution? If so what is the best way to attach the corian? Thanks for any suggestions!

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.
