I am deciding between a cork floor (Expanko brand)and a wood floor (Anderson “Rhino” brand in 5-ply maple) for my kitchen. I would appreciate any opinions and recommendations from the flooring professionals on this board.

Hi Mike,
It all depends on what you want in a floor.
They're both very durable and attractive.
Because cork is a soft product the finish will last longer, however, the refinishing process is different than hardwood and not everyone is familiar with it. We do a lot of kitchens in cork and is a favourite of anyone who has to stand for long periods of time.
But again, it's a personal choice. You can't go wrong with either. Just make sure, you have no ponding of water on either.
