Costco Kitchen Cabs?

PaulBinCT | Posted in General Discussion on October 7, 2009 09:48am

OK… let’s not get all in an uproar (yet) 😉

I’m helping a friend remodel his kitchen and he asked me about these http://www.allwoodfast.com/10x10Kitchen.aspx .  I’m trying to keep an open mind but of course I’m veryyyyyyyyy skeptical.  Apparently they have no display in the store that I can look at so I’m hoping someone here has run across these and can give me some specifics…

TIA

I really don't know anything about them myself, have been in one maybe once but at first glance the cabinet prices appear very very cheap. PaulB

Poured this morning...now it's incredibly windy.  Moved my truck from a high tree branch area :P

            Soooooooooooooooooooooooo.............. anyone?  Bueller?  Bueller?

I think the internet has spoiled us into expecting instant information.  Well, at least I persuaded them not to go to Ikea.  I read another forum that says the Costco cabinets are also shipped K/D which might be part of the price difference, heckuva lot cheaper to ship not to mention the labor.PaulB

Well... this is a favor to a friend.  I'm already taking out a wall, redoing the floor, installing can lights etc etc.  So I can do without assembling cabinets on top :P

Ah well, they're good friends and have done a lot for me in turn.PaulB

Kitchen Cabinets from All Wood Cabinets

I purchased my cabinets from them but I went to http://www.AllWoodCabinets.com

They had a 10x10 kitchen for around $1000.

    Stands to reason

Anything in that price range is going to be MDF (or worse) bodies with--at most--real wood in the Potemkin frames and doors.

The kitchen is always the heart of the home. So before hiring any remodelling contractor, do so much of research online by going through different reviews being posted by different use. You can also go for taking references from your friend or family. I have no idea of Costco. May be they would be providing good resource.
