Guys: Need your opinion on foaming the recessed light cans with my foam gun to make them air tight.  I would use the pur- fill poly foam. Would use the cans that withstand insulation touching it. Beats building a box around it.

Good idea? Or do you think I have been sniffing to much foam. Or if i do this should I put more fire insurance on the house! Go easy.
