May I ask your expert opinion on what type of insulation one should
use in the crawl space under a tile floor? Basically I need
to minimize the heat loss through the tile floor on the first
floor of a two story home. I live in Northern California. The crawl
space is dry year round but should I be concerned about condensation
that could accumulate water under the subfloor and cause rotting?
What method of installation do you recommend? Can I staple the insulation
under the floor or should I trap it between the joists somehow.
What brand and R-rating do you recommend for the insulation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
