Has anyone installed crown molding in a room with a suspended ceiling? I’m on a basment job now and the homeowner bought preprimed crown to be installed after the ceiling is up. I like to install blocks behind crown molding to help maintain the angles. I’ve just started to install the wall angle, so I haven’t held a piece of crown up to the ceiling yet. Even so, I can’t imagine that it will look good. Any suggestions/experiences would be greatly appreciated. I am considering telling the homeowner to return the crown.
