HELP, I need to cut crown moldings for dog house dormers. What angles do I use to mitre top cut for a 10 pitch roof? Also bottom cut for level returns across the front of the dormer? Thanks a lot , I’d rather not make alot fat wood for the wood stove.

Use cornice returns (so that rake 'dies' on top of a flat surface) or find a millwork shop that can run 'developed' crown based on the standard profile. Some shops have have knife sets that might come close to your pitch angle.

Instead of trying to have a shop match the profile, why not square the soffit so that it is perpendicular to the roof pitch. Is there a way to post pictures here? Or post email and I will send an image.
