I’m trying to find some detailed plans for building a wood and glass curio cabinet that I can hang on the wall so my wife can put her crystle collection in there. I would like to put some halogen mini lights in the top also. It seems all the plans I see on line are for free standing cabinets only. I’m supposed to have this ready for Christmas. I always work better under pressure anyway. HELP!

The most common way to make your own parging mix is to use either Type S mortar for block or Type N for brick and add a concrete bonding additive.

Well, why dont you wait another week and let the presure build a bit more!
You might try posting this over in Knots and see if one of those guys/gals have any ideas.
Of course with the new format I dont know which column to put it in to get help.

Finally got to check my messages, what do you mean by knots. I never heard of it, I lead a sheltered life.
Bt is the bulletin board for Fine Homebuilding, Knots is the bulletin board for Fine Woodworking.

Click on the "knots" and it'll take you over to that forum. From their you navigate around to find a place to post your message.
It just recently went through a change, so far the consensus is that this change is not good! (I threw that in for the mod's to see) The set up isnt the same as it is over hear but you can browse around and find a place to post your Q.
There are a lot of woodworkers over there and you should come up with something.
Your already signed up to get over there, just as you are for cooks, over the fence, ..........and so on.
If you have any other questions just ask.

Sorry, can't help with specific plans.
When I have a new project it usually helps to search the furniture sites for ideas. Many times I'll find a piece that has good proportions and drag out a tape measure to aproximate the dimensions in the photo. Generic plans, or articles on jointery help make sense out of the best way to make the parts fit.
Good luck,
Don
