I finished this curved stairway today. The painters have it now and are busy cutting in the painted stringers to the treads and oak riser brackets.

You don't have to sacrifice historical elements of a house in the name of energy efficiency.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Really awesome Stan, nice clean lines, I like the iron, wood & paint combo. Sharp!
I'm right in the middle of the staircase I talked to you about a month ago, you gave me some great ideas that got me thinking outside the box. A real challenge will share some pics as soon as I can.
By the way I'm Armin. The log in messed up my account so I had to re sign up and until I figure out how to get my name back I'll be Riverman.
Boy Stan, you sure crank these beauties out! What type of marketing do you do to be getting so much work?
Armin: I cant wait to see your work. It will be a work of art without a doubt. Post plenty of shots...ok?
Joe: My marketing is just word of mouth. I just am really a small business...with only my wife part/part time. I make a decent living.....and am smelling the roses along the way. I could make much more money if I wanted to....but not enjoy life as much.
I am only going through life once...so even though I wont get it all right the first time...I feel some of it I am. <G>
