I took on a job where I needed to make curved treads up to the landing. In the process of making the bend-lam treads a friend stopped by & said he’d never heard of that before. I admitted I hadn’t either, so he promptly replied “what makes you think it will work”. Now I’m a little concerned, has anybody done this?

why wouldn't it work ?
i've got exterior handrails ( teak ) with no finish on them that were laid up in '85
Yes, I've done it the same as I would bent handrails. I guess I'm hoping to run across someone who has done it successfully before. It seems to me it will work- maybe just too much time to worry on the drive home.
