Stan your stairs are nice but that bird sitting pretty in the corner is growing up nicely...I am patiently waiting. stinky
Stan,
I read a post of yours from 2001 where you indicated that you use a cordless saw to cut the miters on the inside skirt. Do you still use it today or some form of a jig?
Thanks,
Keith
Keith: I use my cordless to cut the miters on stairs that turn to the left...and a regular saw on ones that turn to the right.
I also use my DeWalt 708 miter box to cut either. It just depends on what mood I am in!
Thanks guys for the comments. After all these years...I still have a passion for curved stairways...and rotorcraft.
Stan
beautiful.
Stan,
Are you able to re-use any of those studded walls or do you have to teardown and rebuild the walls for each independent staircase?
Peach full,
easy feelin'.
