I dont fly all the time……I set this small stairway yesterday. The foyer was extremely small….
The first picture is the stairway loaded and ready to travel. The second one is it just installed. The inside stringer has a wall yet to be built under it.

See what I mean by a small foyer?
hey you might of left it out in the sun too long, it looks a little warped
That has such a nice curve to it Stan, and those stringers look so slim and neat. Beautiful work !
Beautiful Stan!
How many guys did it take to put it in place?
Are you going to install the rail?
What it the curved piece if white trim against the wall made of?
I still think you ought to drop these sweet units in place with you helicopter.

Bob: Thanks...I will install the rail later. This particular stairway because of the very small maneuvering space...took 6 guys to stand it on end in the foyer and then rotate it into position. Had the foyer been proper sized..4 guys could have easily set it.

Stan, You the man(doesn't that sound clique)
When I grow up I want to be a circular stair builder!
I thought maybe you had quit building stairs, as all I'd seen lately were gyro pics.
Butch: No..I am still building stairs as busy as ever. I am fortunate to still have a passion for my work. I keep this passion by quitting no matter what at about the same time each day...and LEAVING the work in the shop. Off goes my cell phone and home I go.....or to the airport. :)
I found myself just as eager to get to my shop at 6 a.m. as I am eager to treat myself to home life at 3 p.m.

Excellent work as always, Stan.
That is a nice looking barn down the road. Is it a timberframe? About how old?
Bob: Thanks...That barn is on my dads farm and I was raised in the house just across the road not visible in this picture. I teethed on those boards. The barn was built in 1883. Nothing unique in its construction.

As usual, a pure joy to see your work! I like this set because there is no supports underneath. Same with the set in the other thread.
