We are looking for help with laying out curved walls with a 72 foot radius. We would like to set up a short template (perhaps 8 feet long) and use the template to cut the plates for a 2 x 6 exterior wall. However, we don’t have enough room to swing a 72′ arc with a string or tramell arm. Surely there’s some clever way of accurately laying out a short section of a circle with this radius. Wish I hadn’t fallen asleep in Geometry class.
