Go to your local millwork distributor and ask about using flexible urethane crown. It will be formed to your particular radius. Just nail, glue, and paint.
(BTW, next time, try posting in General Construction Techniques folder--you'll probably find better results.)

check out your lumberyard/supplier for fypon flexible crown moulding you can get it in one piece good luck
The fypon is made to specific radii - not much flex if yours is different and it ani't cheapExcellence is its own reward!
A couple of ideas come to mind....
The 20' diameter is large enough that you may be able to build up the crown using routered or shaped strips, they may be able to take the curve.
If the shape of the crown can be broken down into strips, you could 'swing' the router on a trammel and make curved pieces out of solid wood as opposed to bending the wood strips.
For interior apps. plaster could be used. There may be an exterior grade plaster that would work.
Good luck.
What about Flextrim?

Check out FHB vol 121 (March, 1999) Page 100. The article explains how to curve crown by ripping it into strips and laminating the strips together as it is installed.
