It’s been a while since I posted here.
My wife and I have made an offer on a lovely piece of property on the Sleepy Creek near Berkeley Springs, WVA. We’re looking to make contact with a builder in that area who could help us build a site appropriate vacation home. As an avid reader of FHB, and a cabinetmaker/home renovator myself, I have high standards of craftsmanship and a deep respect for true craftsmen.
To get an idea of what we’re currently thinking about building, although on a somewhat lesser scale, check out the “Hill-Country Hideaway” article in the 2001 Houses issue of FHB.
