what type of saw do i use to cut plastercrownmoulding. i will be making a plywood miterbox to cut my 5″ projection and 6″ drop plastercrown. the moulding is hollow in the back, it seems pretty delicate, i will predrill and handnail . adhesive will be pl premium, i just don’t know about the handsaw. rip or crosscut or…..? thanks for any help.

Crosscut. Blade's going to dull in no time. I usually cut the moulding when the plaster is set up but still wet and somewhat soft
why would the plaster be wet? the moulding is from balmer, they got some nice stuff.
Balmer? what's that? I thought you made the mouldings.
