Anyone recommend a good Dado for the Bosch 4100. I am just a hobbiest and would like one that doesent require any modifications to get it to fit.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

I am in the same boat, and am looking at the Freud sets (200 series, I think). According to my operators manual, any dado set that is less that 13/16 should fit, and they have instruction on how to change the washers to make it fit properly. It does require either a zero clearance insert or the dado insert for the saw, but the arbor is long enough for most standard sets.
I am still debating whether to get a 6 inch or an 8 inch set. I would probably never need more depth than I could get with the 6 inch, and that should be a little easier on the motor and bearings, but I know that as soon as I get a 6 inch set I will have a project that would require another 1/2 inch of depth...
Actually the 8-inch set cuts 1-inch deeper.
The maximum dpeth of cut is governed by the change in radius.
An 8-inch dado has a radius of 4-inches one inch less than the 5-inch radius of the 10-inch blade. At full height it will be 1-inch lower than the 10-inch blade.
Same for the 6-inch dado set. It will be two inches shallower than the 10-inch blade.
Assume the 10-inch blade has a maximum depth of cut of 3.5 inches. Then the 8-inch dado would have a maximum depth of cut of 2.5-inches, and a 6-inch dado would have a 1.5-inch depth of cut.
I've been cutting dados since junior high, and can't remember cutting one deeper than an inch, and can't think of a situation where I would need to.
Get a six inch and a zero clearance insert
The Saw can handle 13/16-inch stacked dado blade sets. Bosch specifically says not to use wobble blades on it. You need to change how the washers are on the arbor to use the dado set. The instructions are in your manual. If you don't have the manual you can down load one here: https://mdm.boschwebservices.com/MDMCache/English%20%5BUS%5D//t10/0000000/r00954v-1.pdf
I'd recommend getting a higher quality 6-inch stacked dado set for it instead of a medium quality 8-inch set, for a couple of reasons. Mostly, because it takes less torque to make cuts and it thus puts less load on the mechanicals of the saw. And secondly, realistically how often do you need a dado that is deeper than an inch.
Bosch does make a dado insert for the saw, and you need to buy it, because it includes a thin washer that you will need to use the full width of the dado set. But, right now Amazon has the zero clearance ones on sale for about half the price of the dado insert and they are a bit safer to use.
Thanks, any brand recommendations? Freud seems to be the one to have?
I would also like a blade that can put a dado in melimine cleanly.
For general hobbiest purposes, I'd recommend the Freud SD306
