I have just installed 2 1500 watt toe kick heaters in my kitchen. Before I even got the chance to turn them on someone tells me these are somewhat dangerous. He even said there has been a recent recall of a specific brand, but did not know which one.
I am seeking opinions of those who have installed or used toe kick heaters. Are the really dangerous? If so, why?
Thanks

I just did a Google search on various combinations of toe kick heaters, danger, dangerous, and recall and didn't find anything relevant. Unless "someone" can give you more information, I wouldn't worry about it.
would this be the brand ?

What brand toe kick heaters are we talking about?
If you just installed them, yopu or your electrician has the warrantee info right at hand. There is a contact # in the literature. Dial a number, work through the phone menu, and ask the manufacturer. They know if they have a recall out.
