My Stabila transit is dead………
Haven’t used it in years, worked when it went in the case 5 or 6 years ago.
No batteries stored in it.
Stabila 80 LMX-P
Battery contacts clean, shorted switch and nothing.
Any ideas?
Don’t want to pull the guts out and ruin the alignment.
Paid a bunch of money for it back when, prolly not worth much now?

Send it to me, I'll refill it with red photons. You probably ran out.

Might go to town tomorrow & ask the local Stabila dealer about it.
Stabila website gave me a name in town, local yard I haven't been to yet.
Supposed to be a real yard according to my new neighbor.
Maybe they'll have a box of them photon thingees I can pour in and see whut happens?
Need to find a farm supply too.
Moving is a bitch, being the new guy is not good.
Still gotta find an old school bus for my yard too, it's a New Mexico thing.

Roswell is over the mountains and north a bit.
Long way to go for some photons, think I'll try the local guys first.

Joe-Where you moving to in New Mexico? From where in Utah? Some of my favorite places in the universe.View Image
I was just south of Cedar City in the hills, now in High Rolls NM. Grandchildren in Texas, it was too far to commute.
I'm a few miles east of Alamogordo at about 6700' surrounded by Lincold Nat Forest.
Less juniper & more pine than Utah and less people too.
