Deal alert -Lowes clearing out Kline tls

Two of my local Lowes stores are clearing out all the Kline handtools in the electrical dept – all are between 50-75% off.
These two stores normally don’t have the same clearance items, so I’m inclined to believe this is chain-wide, at least regionally.
They are replacing all the Kline tools with duplicate made in Taiwan Greenlee tools (I think it was GL..)

They are going clearance because Klein Tools is now exclusive to Home Depot as far as big box retailers go i.e. no Lowes, Menards.
More and more, there are no good tools to be bought at the big boxes.There's a few pro-level gems out there, but mostly it's the new craptastic Porter Cable at Lowes, the Ridgid and Ryobi chinese #### at Home Depot and the lighterweight versions Dewalt, Makita and Bosch tools.I'm on the fence about Milwaukee these days - obviously, they make some great stuff still, but any new product from them I might assume now has got a lot more plastic and is def made in China.Craigslist and Amazon are where I buy the good stuff.I'm suprised HD is going heavy with Kline - they have been pimping out there house brand - the "Commercial Electric" line of handtools.JT

edit to all: Oh by the way back when I mentioned HDT being shut down temporarily I was wrong on the reason. Mark got married a while back, is recovering from some surgery (doing well).
