Saw someone else post in the impact driver thread that they got a 15.6 volt Panasonic impact driver at Sears for $160
Thought it must be a mistake – that thing goes for $300
Looked at Sears.com it is the 15.6volt multi driver – impact and drill
IT’S ONLY $149.00
Had to pass on the info

Sometimes I hate the internet.
That thing is out of my budget right now. And I am kicking dirt. LOL
With 1100 in/lbs of torque power, and a 1/2" chuck, that thing could even be used for changing tires...

Sorry Jeff, almost hated to post it for that very reason
Man, what a deal though
Suppose you could get it even cheaper by getting Amazon to do their Beat the competition's price by 10% of the difference deal
Looks like I have to spend some money I shouldn't
It's have to be free for me to afford it right now.Don't even have play leeway for a while.Oh well. I'll live.: )

Apparently Dieselpig has been able to order these http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=54898.33- still no luck for me here
Guess you all can try your luck - I sure don't understand how he is getting them - I get a message telling me the item is not available in the quantity ordered, even if I only try to order one
Good thing is they've been out long enough in popularity now and got market saturation so we should be seeing more and more deals coming down the pike.
If one doesn't have to have one like right now pronto today then there should be decent prices coming along.
I mean how much more material pricing goes into the manufacture of an impact wrench?
I am hoping that the release of the 28 volt lithium ion Milwaukee tools with also put some downward pressure on the cordless on the market.
Someone on this board mentioned getting that Multi-Driver for about $150 or $200 several months ago (think it mighta been T) and I have been hoping ever since. Have not seen that one for less than $299 so that $149 was a real deal.
I didn't really need one though, my 12 volt does allright and I don't have any other 15.6 volt tools - might have ended up costing me more as I was considering getting the drill driver metal saw combo as well.
heres another decent deal, if you allready have a battery
