I work for a small company that installs fences and Decks, right now we manually draw our fences and decks on a piece of gridded paper, then go back to the office and use a program to draw the exact same thing. Then we use google docs with formulas that we created to tell us what materials we will need. I’m looking for something out there that can use AI to generate the drawing for us and tell us the exact amount of materials and what materials we will need. Then I need it to job cost the finished job for me. Does anyone know of a program that does this?

Is this what the world is becoming, where people are so lazy and unskilled they want AI to do their thinking for them? Instead, just hire an architect or engineer to design your decks. Then if the deck someday collapses and injures people, you won't be to blame.
Hey dumb ass the drawing of the deck and pulling materials has nothing to do with how we INSTALL the deck. This is a forum for people that need help, you obviously sit around with a finger up your ass being completely not helpful! Why are you even on here? I’m not asking AI to install the projects. I have very hard working & talented crews that don’t sit on a gaming chair all day (which I’m sure you do) that know how to make magic happen. It would just be nice to have a program that would say hey you’re probably good if you send this much material for your incredible crews.
You obviously don't understand clear English. You asked about AI software to design a deck to save you time; I replied about the better option of hiring a skilled professional to design the deck. Nothing was said about installing a deck. You won't find software yet that you'd understand that can do the job of such professionals. To call me names when it is you who did not understand what free advice was offered you suggests you need more education too.
@mstokes: You need to find a different forum. Your attitude and language aren't a fit for this one.
Limited language skills.
Take a look at ArcSite. This is a drawing software that works off an iPad. I use it and really like it. And no….I do not work for this company!

This is interesting to me because I'm getting a new deck installed. No, I don't have an answer as to which AI solution is available. However, I noticed that my deck builder took the very basic measurements and gave them to the building supply company to determine all the materials and a quote. They in turn sent the top-down measurements to the rail manufacturer and they supplied a list of all the railing materials. I pay the bill. I'm just hoping it all works out, LOL.
