Deck Facia

parksplace5454 | Posted in General Discussion on

I am building a new deck and have watched Mike Guertin’s “Shop Class: Critical Deck-Framing Connections” over and over again; I think it is excellent.  I have one concern however.  When you attach the railing 4×4 posts to the rim joists with the 1/2″ bolts, how do you then cover the bolt heads with the facia?
