Getting ready to draw it up in CAD, submit to the township, ready for the spring. Someone told me you can now buy pressure treated engineered trusses. No more messing around with big box store lumber nightmares. Never heard of it. Just wondering if this is true. If so, Is it worth the money.

You can also look for non-big box store sources of dimensional treated lumber.
Keep in mind that some places use treated lumber that is kiln dried post treatment, and assembled using standard connectors intended for dry locations. (treatment is for insect resistance) Exposed applications would need connectors and fasteners designed for exposed use.
You will have to check locally for sources of such trusses and compare costs.
