Hi,

I have a 6×6 post on concrete foundation supporting (3) 2×12 beam using a post to beam connector bracket. Beams sit right on top of the 6×6 post.  I also have a pergola over the deck with rafters attached to the house using ledger board. Since I cannot hang the deck beam like a joist, so, how do connect the 9 ft 6×6 post to the deck frame that goes up to hold beam for the pergola rafters? Thanks
