Can anyone recommend a square foot deck price for a trex deck , low to the ground using 1 X trex and 2x8s with some curves built in set on concrete footings. I just want to throw this guy an estimate to see if he is serious. Thanks for the help

You'll find that most of the posters here don't recommend a S.F. price...............because it sucks. And it doesn't work. Why use a broken tool?
If your customer wants an estimate, call your supplier, get a quote for the material, mark-it-up $_______% (subject to great debate) Figure your time, (Labor) and figure how much of a reward (profit) you should receive for accepting the risk to do the job.
Then thow it at him.
Chances are you'll get the job if you sell it to him instead.
Good points, thanks for the help

Or tell him$45/sf.
That'll make him get serious.
"Throw in some curves" makes an impossible way to get pricing here. Curved work can make an area three to ten times the price for labor..
Excellence is its own reward!
Thanks for the help piffin. sound pretty pricy a 500 sq.ft. deck would be 22,500. What would you figure with out the curves. thanks again

I just turned in an estimate for 252 sf at a little over $13K with IPE'and to demo the old and add bench seats.
Try the search here. We did discuss this recently.
I won't do your homework for you but look at it this way, forgetting rails and foundations, just the materials for the basic deck will run about 5/ft. Add footings and rail and labor..
Excellence is its own reward!
thanks again for the valuable help piffin.
