Has any one used the connectors instead of drilling the holes. Does the time saved in drilling out weigh the cost of the connectors? I have about a 100 to install and it seems that it could save a lot of time. Does anyone have an opinion?

I have never used the connectors, my thinking that any variance (warpage) in the bottom or top rail would result in unsightly gaps. Just an opinion. I forget the brand that my lumber yard sells, but it is about 1/2 the price of Deckorators (sp?). They sell the plastic mounting balls and screws separate.
Send an E-mail to Bob (Pro Deck). He seems like a nice enough guy and would probably answer.
Or you could do "Deck call for Mr. Pro-dek"

Decorator sold out!
They went to a thinner wall size baluster so they could sell there own own fasteners.
I would recommend you use Alumastraid and the uni-ball fasteners.
The labor for assembly is about double that of a conventional wood style railing.
Here is my two sons putting it together.
