Free to anyone willing to pay shipping charges. There are two clamps. Two free clamps and Norm, too. What more could you ask for? (Besides a lot.)
These were for a chop saw I no longer have (found them in the shop today under layers of dust.) Have never been used.
Model numbers on the box. Otherwise, they get tossed.

Does anyone actually use them? I must have one from every chop saw I ever owned, and they never went ON the saw..LOL

Now you know why they are still in their original boxes, lol
Wait, I shouldn't be saying that if I want someone to take them.

So I'll bite and ask. If you don't use the clamp to hold work down, what do you use? Just a free hand? Your own jig?
Hands down the easiest, is the hand.
I use the hold down rarely, and usually only when the situation requires I have three hands, or when my gut says it is too dangerous to go without it.

Thanks. The clamp I have on my Ridgid works pretty well, but it's a rectangle with one corner cut off at 45 deg. And there are definitely some ways that it doesn't work well at all.
My free hand and my free leg if its a long hunk. Yes, I do that..just stand on on leg and stretch out the other to hold the end flopping around.
Been doing it since before all the fancy nancy stands were around.(G)Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

yeah, but the radio comes in better...
Bought one for a DeWalt a while back off a bargain table.
Still sitting in the box. Still trying to imagine a need for it.
Fishing weight. Paper weight. Plumb bob. Ballast for anything that needs it. Projectile to throw at squirrels, cats, in-laws, any other animal that you don't want around. The list goes on. The clamps go in the trash.

I suppose if one wanted to clamp a piece to cut and then leave it on the saw to be worked in some fashion it might have a functional aspect to it.
I mean just cause I've never had the need for that doesn't mean someone working with a piece of hardwood might find it useful for carving, a kreg bore or whatever.
Maybe melt some lead down to make a doorstop for it to sit in until the time.
