When deck posts exceed what the prescriptive code tables allow, it's time to consult a structural engineer for post sizing and possible bracing.

You can't go wrong with the fein multimaster, the only con being no way of doing profile sanding (that I know of)
*The saw blades available for use on the multimaster are what sold me.
*If this snow keeps up, and I can't get to the doctor tomorrow, I'm usin' my Fein to cut off this cast...bb
*you know billy, I was so enamored (sp? you know jaw dropped in love) with the nurse/technician that was cutting off the cast on my wrist, I forgot what they used. However, I remember as I was gazing into her eyes, she had me put my finger on the blade to show me how it wouldn't cut me. I'm thinking it might have been a Fein. It was a few years b/4 I picked up that multi-tool. Best of luck, and it's supposed to come off, right?
*I've got the Fein Multimaster.....great tool. But it doesn't do curves like the PC. If it does have attachments for that, I haven't seen them....but then I haven't looked either.Ed.
