I just bought a dewalt 15 guage nailer and need 34 degree nails to fit it. Does anybody know if the Stanley Bostitich nails will fit this gun. Need to know as soon as possible as I start this job first thing tomorrow morning and the only place open is the Home Depot.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

what the heck
was I thinking?
Thank you very much for the information.
You're welcome, hope you find the nails you need.what the heck was I thinking?
Rob,
If you need 34deg. nails, the bostitches wont fit you need a senco or a paslode nail.
Bostitch nails are collated at a twentysomething angle. You can use any nail you want as long as it is a 34 degree nail. They most common brands to look for for 34degree nails are senco, paslode, and maybe portercable.
FYI The nail gauge doesn't determine what nail you need, it's the angle of coallation, thats what you need to match. Lots of nailers both framing and finish use a paslode or senco nail(thats easier than calling them 34degreee coallated nails) but Bostitch is the one nailer co. who doesn't.
I hope this info was in time and I hope it helps .
Chris
In addition- The 34deg. Senco-type 15 ga. finish nails are often designated as 'DA' type.
You're right, the dang Bostich is the odd man out.
