A read a book once about a Chinese guy (called a "gihan"? or something like that) that designed gardens so they looked like they were naturally the way they were. He planned hills and rocks and stream and everything. Interesting book. Seems like it may have been Shibumi by Trevanian, but it may have been something by Eric Von Lustbadder. (My spelling on just about evertything is probably wrong.)
You know what's cool? Your poolhouse looks like it's supposed to be there.
As a failed design student I can say with no authority, good job!

Hey - thanks a lot! That being my final job, and all, I'm glad it turned out. That pool installation's become a demonstrator for the pool company; sad thing is, a few folks have seen the poolhouse, and want their own!
Gotta' figure out how to handle that.

Great job, I've followed your post on this project since the start. Does it make you want to leave the dark side and come back to building again? Is it required to wear a trench coat when photographing little kids swimming through a fence? Just kidding, this was a great project and very inspirational for us without such talent.
Any follow up pictures on your car project, I think it was a Bricklin or something close?
Three of them were my kids!
