I put Pergo flooring down in my living room back in 98′. Naturally now it has been discontinued and I need some more due to a wall being moved. Anybody know where I could look ? The flooring is Pergo in beech planked (not blocked) finish.

From building boxes and fitting face frames to installing doors and drawers, these techniques could be used for lots of cabinet projects.

I see LOTS of questions about discontinued pergo in the forums at bobvila.com
Don't know how many get responses, but I see a few.
If the floor has been down since 98, one might want to consider the new/old flooring probably won't match due to wear and fading issues. Is this a laminate type or hardwood type of floor? If it were hardwood you might be able to get beech, mach the pattern of the floor and then refinish the whole thing.
Not seeing the floor the only other fix I could think of would be to use something like a ceramic tile or carpet border around the flooring area in question. You'd never know it wasn't a "fix" for a problem.
Just my 2 cents.
Chris
Is all pergo discontinued or just certain styles.
I remeber when the stuff came out and I said it looked like it would be falling apart in 5 years.... and everyone else thought it was the cat's meow..... and now I see it falling apart here and there
Not that I'm trying to say I told you so but...................

No Pergo is still around. But they have gone through several generations. That is of manufacturing/installation systems. So you have that problem. But you also have the patterns that are discontinued or updated that also need to match.
You know I have to say that I installed quite a bit of it in my home back in 98' and its held up remarkable well. my kids ride their Big Wheels on it and I have a 90lb. yellow lab that has run across it for years. It stratches somewhat, nothing noticeable though, and I have never had any movement problems with it. It looks as good as the day I laid it! However I do need more of it and hence, my problem! If anybody has any knowledge of a website or dealer that may have some boxes of outdated stuff laying around I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Craig
Craig-I think your bet is going to be with building supply liquidators. I'm guessing this is gonna take some legwork. Also, it wouldn't hurt to start calling flooring supply houses, they may be helpful in locating new old stock somewhere. Good luck.
The failures I see most often are near entrance doors (wet shoes) and other wet locations. The stuff swells at the joints and deteriorates.

I have three boxes and some scraps from around that time, also a package of noise-abatment underlayment, a partial roll of vapor barrier, and a bottle of Pergo glue.
I think it is Beech. Light-colored planks.
