NobleSeal TS is a waterproofing membrane with a fleece backing, that is advertised as also being suitable for crack isolation. It’s a flat sheet about 30 mils thick. And Ditra is for crack isolation, but it is considerable thicker due to the waffle construction. Does anyone have a preference for one over the other, and why? In some situations, the thinner NobleSeal would be an advantage. And I think it’s less expensive.
The intended application is a bathroom floor (not a wet area) on a concrete slab that shows some minor cracks. Yes, I know a bathroom floor gets wet, but this is not in the shower enmclosure. The puirpose here is not waterproofing, but rather crack isolation.

I used the Nobleseal in my shower .It has a curved door sill and the Nobleseal formed to that curve up and over then downand flat on the bath floor. Never used Ditra ,But I would use the nobleseal again.
Never used Ditra either, but everything I've read about it is positive... except the cost. Apparently it is quite easy to use and effective at crack control.
