I've always thought it a better idea to place the gallery link further down the page, as newcomers will not spend the time, for the most part to find the proper discussion area. Sorry, no pic.
*Good idea. Adds some idiot resistance.didHow'd you like to wake up to this every morning?

*Ralph, So where is the picture of this fine dish?????????
*Hey Allen, you gotta keep that water away from those pictures. Either that, or you need to clean your scanner.b : )
*Luka, That's what happens when you buy a cam from AOL, it makes funny pics.......I have no idea how to improve it. Moral of the story....don't buy cheap digital cam! :(
*Aha !! Glad you posted this.Does this happen on every pic ?How long have you had the camera ? ie, is it still within a warrantee, or better yet, within a 'grace period' on your credit card ?Reason I ask... This looks to me like specs on the lens. If cleaning the lens doesn't take care of the problem, then the specks are on the inside. Even if you are able to take the lens off, don't do it. Just send it back for a new one. It's also possible it is defects in the lens. I've seen plenty of light spots like that in pictures from regular cameras, and tho it can be from the way you are using the camera, it is also possibly the fault of something in/on/around the lens. Here is an excelent opportunity to make use of Jim Blodgett's schooling. He is a newfound camera expert. Ask him. Go ahead, ask him. I dare ya. I don't remember enough of my school learning to be able to tell you the 'techniques' of using the camera that can result in this flaw. Nor do I have access right now to my books on the subject. But I'll bet it's fresh on Jim's mind.If all else fails, you can send it to me, and I will test it for you, for a couple years, to see if I can find the problem. LOLb : )
*Luka, The thing I don't understand is the pic on the above post (5) is taken with the same cam and it ain't half bad, I think it's a lighting thing. How bout it Jim?
*It looks like this thread is working out quit well for keeping out the non picture posters. Err here's mine.
*You and your moose need to relax down here...
*Too funny! Gunner :-)
*OK Here's a picture. This is from a hang glider 20 miles out from Chelan Butte Looking back toward lake Chelan. I flew 32 miles that day.Darrell
*Gunner, that's so funny, I forgot to post a picture, I'm still laughin'. The gif thing is not coming up on my machine, don't do that again...
*Cool Shot Darrel-Where did you land? How long were you up? Nice shot. I bought my Dad a glider ride on his 70th birthday from the Issaquah skyport (gone now) He said it was the most wonderful thing he had ever done. Bob
*Pro-Dek, I landed at a place called "Sims Corner" near Coulee City. It took about 3 hours. 1 hour of that was spent "climbing out" of the Butte to get high enough to cross the Columbia. Your Dad probably had a good time. We celibrated the 70th birthday of a hang glider - Ralph a few years ago. He's still a hot pilot. Oh, almost forgot....gotta post a picture in this thread>>>>
*Heres a gyrocopter I used to fly several years ago. It was a fantastic machine. Wind did not bother it at all. The motor I had on it was junk however, and I had eight engine outs. Never hurt, or no gyrocopter damage. I want to get a two seat enclosed ultralite in a year or so.
*Hey Bucksnort, yer picture isn't a valid .jpeg again.b : )

*Glad to Bucksnort.b : )

*Cool Stan!- Keep your hands in your pockets.
*take some bread along Stan. they will eat right out of your hand, just like the ducks. Or is that, they will eat your hand?
*When I get back, or should I say IF I get back, I may only be able to make stairs that curve to the left, depending on which arm I lose. ha

Aww, they do grow up so fast, don't they? No matter the age, 'tho, they're always your baby. Mine called from Montana the other day, said she was homesick. Then she called again yesterday, only this time she was just home, sick. Your pic brings back some memories!

That's the penalty for too much time on message boards, right?
Ok, want to take a little space in this thread for some public relation news involving the creation of a thread dedicated to all those old photo documentary threads rolling around in the Breaktime abyss.
homedesign <!----><!----> has taken it upon himself to attempt to corral those loose gun photo threads into a single listing for referencing and thus the good of the community
so if you'all know of any particular photo threads worthy of listing please copy or paste the link number in thread 94806.1 and help assist homedesign on his endeavor.
I was roaming around in the old threads yesterday and found a cool wood floor that JeffBuck had done way back in 2002 that I don't recall ever seeing.

Guys, this is worth getting involved in. Every little bit will help.
be ok, I'm off the soapbox now.

I don't have any threads to add, but damn that floor is nice!
Makes it hard to pick on someone with that kind of talent! My brain + his brawn = a perfect team
You seem computer savvy. Perhaps you could aid homedesign on his project. Seems there's much to do.
I can't believe I looked on the bottom of my microsoft wireless mouse and found a little button saying 'connect' which I'd never noticed before.
Well, I pressed it and now the mouse won't run the cursor. Tried rebooting both puter and mouse, nada. pull and replace batts...nothing. Push button on transmitter nada. Had to get an old wired mouse out to type this.
Curiosity killed the cat and the mouse.
be hate when that happens and I'd like to thank PeterJ for his thread on 'Mice You've Loved' which is driving me to the brink of insanity.
sobriety is the root cause of dementia.
I'm really not that computer savvy. I would like to help if possible though. What can I do? Just look at old interesting threads? Maybe e-mail homedesign so we don't double do?
Can't help you on the mouse situation. All I've ever had is a plain old corded two button with a scroll! My brain + his brawn = a perfect team
ya, just email homedesign and see what his game plan is.
and do not press computer buttons unless you know what they do:o)
sobriety is the root cause of dementia.
I will do that. (email homedesign)
I will not do that. (press computer buttons unless I know what they do!)
Alright then.My brain + his brawn = a perfect team
