Does NEC allow for splicing Service Entrance Wire?
I have attempted to look through the NEC to find the answer to my question, but can’t find anything that concerns this subject.
For part of this project expansion requires to have the meter replaced with a dual-gang meter which will require the location of the meter to be relocated. Long story short, it would be easier if I could splice the existing Service Entrance wire from the Meter to the Load Center with an additional Service entrance wire to go from the splice to the new meter location.
Thanks
Ken L.
