I am starting to sheetrock my second floor ceiling, I have insulated with R-30 bats first and will add furring strips to drop the ceiling down three quarters of an inch. My question is, should I put a sheet of plastic between my furring strips and the insulation?
I know this will be a good vapor barrier but I am worried about condensation forming as the hot air from the upstairs meets the cold air from the attic.
Should I be concerned with this.

hack- get ready for a lot of opinions to follow up. That's a double vapor barrier and some say no and some say ok. The idea is with a double layer like that moisture can find a way between them and not get out thus creating an ugly. But I'd best let the pros answer that one.
Not to worry, it won't promote condensation, it will only stop it from going any further and doing damage.
