Has anyone found a screen door that stands up to in/out traffic of dogs? Our screen doors get trashed after awhile because of the constant motion. Of course, these are spoiled dogs with zero hope of controlling their need to get on ‘the other side’ of the door.
Tips or product names?
Thanks, Martin

So, what do you have now?
And are the dogs just nosing it or do they open the door?
If it's a wood screen, remove the lower screen sections and replace with 3/8'ths good 2 side mdo-nicely paintable.
If wanting to keep screen low, and a wood door-a section of hardware cloth w/screen should offer some help. Comes in varying opening sizes-1/8, 1/4, 3/8..........
They push it open.
Well then
The only answer I have for you is up above.
Best of luck.
Don't forget to install a pull on the outside.
Yeah, attach 1/2" hardware
Yeah, attach 1/2" hardware cloth to both sides of the screen.
Screen Door Protection
When I grew up, our screen doors had a metal protector on the lower quarter to protect from dogs and feet. Are these still available?
I'm pretty sure I've seen those things made from curled metal strips recently. But they're not much protection from dogs.
I remember seeing steel panels that had something like 1/4" holes all over them them to protect screen doors. They looked very old then, and that was at least 40 years ago. I thought they looked cool. They could be recreated out of some perforated material.
I found a place that sells perf metal, lots of nice stuff there. http://www.perf-plus.com/
Cover the area on your door with plexi-glass and use screws or velcro as the fastner of choice. Has worked at my home and several clients.
while looking for screen rolls I came across this.
